A 3rd consecutive away defeat marred the 3 home-game fine run Liverpool had. A controversial Gary Speed's freekick and a clincial header from Ivan Campo separated the 2 sides.

Pepe Reina was clearly misjudged by the referee for handball outside the penalty area but it was not an excuse for Liverpool who played sloppily against a well-organised Bolton side. The Reds ~~ability~~inability to defend in aerial attacks was once-again manifested by Campo.

Rafael Benitez should have paired Dirk Kuyt and the in-form Crouch instead from the barren Bellamy. But 1 have to admit any Bolton home game is going to turn out tough.

Great thumping of the Turkish giants, with Crouch being the double-goal hero.

Crouch made a great start in the first 15 mins followed by Luis Garcia's open header. Crouch then displayed his aerobatic abilities with a superb overhead kick goal in the 2nd half which put Liverpool comfortably with a 3-goal cushion.

Though Finnan put in a fantastic assist to Crouch's goal, he was ironically the culprit of the 2 goals Liverpool conceded in the final periods of the game. Not the best performance u expect from one of the most consistent right-back in EPL. The Reds had to defend nervously till the final whistle and once again it showed their fragile defense when under pressure.

At Manila's Nokia Exibition , the Finnish firm unveiled the N95, -- distinctly different from the rumor pics that spread like wildfire on the net -- the N75, touted the smallest phone in the N-series lineup, some budget 5300/5200, revamped 3250, N70, N73 and now the 8GB built-in N91, in the new wave of music-centric mobiles.

The N95 silder stole the show with its integrated GPS-receiver, 3.5G capabilities, a eyebrow-raising 5.1-Megapixel camera. The rest of the features are similar to its predecessor, the N80, notably Wi-Fi enabled. The only setback would perhaps be the screen, as its a step back from the 416x352 pixel display found in the latter to a larger but less sharp QVGA. It remains a enigma to many.

The N75 is essentially a foldable N70(think N71), but this time, it scores in its cosmetic department. Definitely a powerhouse slim folder that even Motorola or Samsung can't match for now.

The 5300/5200 music phones are cheap handsets with features considered stone-age today.

The remaining improved 3250, N70, N73, N91 sums up how Nokia build on the success of current products and better suit music tastebuds.

Looking great for the Reds against a distraughted Hotspur. Although slow start to the first-half, the Reds were rejuvanated after the break and they deserved 6 out of 6 points for the week.

First, Gerrard excellent footwork on the right side of the penalty box puts a straight-through low-cross. Bellamy unforgivably lost the plot right in front of goal but Gonzalez scambled shot eased the Kop's nerves.

Second, superb vision from Garcia that set up Kuyt with his 2nd goal the week, though he still needs more time to adapt to the Premiership

Third, a scorcher from Riise in injury time - contender for goal of the season together with Alonso's wonder goal a few days before - that caught Paul Robinson off-guard.

Comment: Sissoko had an off-day today, giving the ball away too easily while Zokora now looks 20% Salif Diao. Advice for Martin Jol to concentrate on their set-pieces.

The 6th Gen iPod(dubbed iPod Video) has an impressive new feature set, particularly the 75% more rated battery life(even though in reality, it is hardly accurate) and the "gapless" playback feature(sort of like 'treaded' music). Yes, the 5th Gen just got better but where's the new looks and bigggggggger screen that most people kept whining about? The cosmetic department may have been retained for simplicity but the screen seriously needs to be reworked. They added frills like Bejeweled in their games section, but few would actually bother. Apple did saved themselves(not by resisting pro-organic movements), but with an attractive pricing -- S$428 for 30GB -- and according in truth, probably the best 30GB Mp4 player in town, at least till Creative pops up with something.

I think perhaps the best leap forward the new iPod family is the evolved Nano. The shell got harder and resembles an anorexic age-old iPod mini. So, you are guaranteed better protection, and more storage space too -- 8GB of nand flash to be exact.

Last but not least, the 2006 iPod Shuffle is still, well....a shuffle............

Tokyo Drift

The Good: Hot rides, hot babes, hot stunts
The Bad: not-so-hot-storyline, not-so-hot-when-u-see-muscle-cars-doing-impossible-drifts, Bow Wow looks out of place.
Bottomline: Watch it for the cars, i mean seriously. You seldom get to see familiar cars in drift action in an ENGLISH movie, just too bad that the muscle cars(and bow wow and vin diesel) looks out of place. And viper fans, your car is going to get owned real bad haha
My rating: 7.5/10

Did you know: Pioneer of drifting, Keiichi Tsuchiya(famously related to his AE86) appeared at the fishing scene commenting on how bad Lucas Black's drifting was.

Two days ago i was at the CMPB doing my medical checkup, and coincidentally i met my schoolmate. We were talking about random stuffs, just chit-chatting, and then we got heated up over the next-gen console war LOL. We were praising the PS3 graphic power, Xbox 360's close effort and then, i don't know for what ever reason, took note of the Nintendo's Wii. The name might sound "cheesy" but the console itself is actually very "spicy". It was through my friend that i begin to take a different perspective about console gaming.

I mean, all three consoles have the ability to deliver mind-boggling graphics, yet Wii is so exceptional in its gameplay design from the rest. PS3 fans will probably say Wii can NEVER whip Sony's ass but here, i think Nintendo might have just cracked it. You see, console gaming was NEVER compared to PC gaming from the fact that they do different things and do it to their best. On a PC, people will constantly be rambling about getting the best graphics cards such as nVidia GeForce 7900 and ATI X1900, or increasing their system RAM to 1GB or more, just for the sake of BETTER graphics. IF you are loaded though, it might not be the slightest of the problem but i believe many of us won't like to spend a few hundred bucks every few months just to keep up with latest of the ever-evolving PC technology.

For a console, you DON'T have to worry about constant upgrades or installations or anti virus softwares or defragment of the harddiskes et cetera et cetera...the Playstation was a phenomenon when it rolled out in 1995. It sweeped across the world with insane sales figures within a few years of it launch and EVERYONE, young and old, would have heard or own the machine. Then in 2000, Sony made it again with the Playstation 2(PS2) and again the world was taken by storm. Sony still kept the original controller design mainly due to the fact that it had superb user-friendly and ergonomic design. But now, after more than a decade, the PS3 STILL sports the same controller, amid with a built in wireless radio and motion sensor but they removed the DUAL SHOCK! Man...the dual shock was the reason that made the PS so special, and now they took it out because of a Nintendo lawsuit(apparently the "copied" the idea from the Mario Brothers). To make up for it, Sony decided to have an in-built motion sensor so that the player can tilt, swing, spin, hook, smash..........the controller to create spontaneous movements during in-game. And guess what? Nintendo has it TOO! So that means this technology will be take out of the PS4 cos' Nintendo is going to sue Sony again...Sad...

Anyways, imagine swinging the PS3 controller all day to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour? or Gran Turismo? or the GREAT BASS ACTION etc...i won't surprise after a few hours, you would have build your biceps and triceps. Why? Cos' the controller is HEAVY, that's why! Yes, yes...innovative but No PAIN No GAIN? BIG No-No...

Perhaps Sony should learn the dieting tricks from Nintendo - Look how dwarfed the Wii system is compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360, and look at the "controller", it's just a remote control and a small thumb pad that's smaller then most PC's mice. The "controller" is SERIOUSLY COOL, no doubt about it. To know how it works, go to youtube and search for "E3 2006 zelda demo" to catch a glimpse of it in action, compared to the lame 3D box animation that Sony used to demostrate its controller. Seeing how Zelda works with the "controller", Nintendo has indeed REVOLUTIONISED console gaming, and i can almost imagine me purchasing a Wii for Nintendo's passion and innovation. That IS what i mean by evolution, not just by developing a monster GFX or more memory....You can't deny Nintendo's passion in recreating the system in its bid to win the console world domination. And i can't see why it is not in Nintendo's favour......

World Cup Feevar...

The world cup is in the midst of the group stages, and we've already seen great football from promising players: Robben, Rosicky, Cahill.

Great to see a rejuvenated Chelsea-man Robben win the Man-of-the-Match award and with a clincal finish from Gunners' Robin Van Persie. Meanwhile his new Gunners' colleague, Rosicky, got a brace on the opener for Czech Rep with a great strike in the 57th min. Tim Cahill proved why David Moyes brought him from Millwall to the Premiership - exceptional quality.

Coach of Group Phase 1 has got to be Dutch's Guus Hiddink with the introduction super-subs Cahill and Aloisi late on in the game to snatch the win from out-of-sorts Japan.

Germany-Costa Rica opener was exhilarating, within 20 minutes we saw 3 goals floating pass nets on each side. Germany were eventual winners 4-2 and perhaps many pundits were left in shock and awe.

Best goal so far has got to be Andrea Pirlo's powershot hitting the bottom right corner of the net, beating not only the keeper but also the 9 man in the penalty box.

Enough said, My Top Eight predictions are:

I've watched The Da Vinci Code and Over The Hedge over the past two weeks. Both are great movies in their own genres, though the former's success is in its hugely debatable plot.

Let me tell you about Over the Hedge first. From its crappy posters to its cheesy movie trailers, one will never discover its true beauty till u watch the show. Really. Its just as good as Shrek, even better than Finding Nemo IMO. The actions and climaxes are strong yet mild to the young audience. The characters had a fair share of the limelight. Stars a mischievous raccoon who wanders the lands in search of food for hibernation and a ultra-sensitive but responsible house keeper turtle who looks after a 12-member family in the woods. The raccoon oftens comes up with witty, risky ideas but still manage to pull them through though many were close-shaves. The whole adventure is captivating and viewers will never leave his/her eyes off the screen. The movie's length is appropiate too.

The Da Vinci Code is accurate to its book, though some parts were not were well elaborated as expected. The revelation of the "truth" at Teabing's place may infuriate many of the Christian and Catholic community, while those non-Christians maybe in awe at realising the "real truth", its must be reminded that it is just a movie based a controversial plot from a controversial novel. Whether there is truth or not, only the audience can decipher and interpret themselves.

Controversial film The Da Vinci was released a few days ago. Catholics and Christians aroudn the world have voiced their displeasure over the movie, which distorts facts from fiction. All i can say is to watch and enjoy the movie with an open heart - a forgettable affair.

Nothing IS scarier than the TRUTH. The Inconvenient Truth talks about global warming issues and the ailing Earth...the trailer is quite breathtaking...I've a feeling this movie is going to be the movie of 2006, and this is the movie that u can count on your money...

Was drifting around at AMK central yesterday, found this small game shop selling Japanese Imported Xbox 360 for $680 plus Final Fantasy XII game if i'm not wrong.

I also found iRiver U-10 at Suntec City Tower 1 Level 3, $348 for 512 Mega-bytes. Tried and Tested it...MAGNIFICANT...if only all Mp3 players were designed like this...

Large 2.2" LCD 320x240 pixels; Mpeg,Mp3, Mp4 playback; Radio; TxT viewer; Macromedia Flash games(!!); out-of-ordinary navigation via 'clicking' the panels on the sides of the screen; Mp3 playback time; 27-hours...below is the dock cradle...reminiscent of an old-school TV IMHO...

The cradle has built in speakers, line-in + line-out jacks, USB slot and a 'snooze' button for the alarm clock function. It even comes with a remote. I will let you drool over from here...

This is the Nokia N95 'smartphone' ( it could be a fake;). Nokia scores again this time. 3-Megapixels, 3x Optical Zoom( a first for Nokia? ), exquisite Carl Zeiss lens, Wi-Fi + Bluetooth...what more do you want for a 'smartphone'? ...... 3D GFX card, VGA screen, full Qwerty keyboard, 'iPod-quality' audio etc...ok i'm greedy):

Just went CNET.com to do my daily checks, well they reviewed the Xbox 360...already...after going through all the specs and stuffs, i finally concluded - 360 will become a hit if;

1. Consumers are happy with current DVD standards and not opt for HD-DVD/Blu-Ray, yet

2. Tons more old Xbox titles becomes backward-compatible with the new console

3. Consumers want a Media Centre oriented console vs. a not so multimedia oriented PS3

4. Wants to listen tunes direct from an iPod (via USB) WHILE enjoy high-quality gaming

Well basically the rest of the competition is just the brand-image War between Microsoft and Sony.. Some said Microsoft rushed this console to get a clear headstart( 1 year before the PS3 is launched to be exact. ) and it might have been a version 1.5 Xbox instead of a 2.0 but that kinda sucks. Noone would liked to be exploited to buy a console to find out that 1 year later, it becomes obselete.

And so the battle for next generation gaming goes on...

PATHETIC.

Yes, you heard it right. Liverpool's performance is PATHETIC and EMBARRASSING. Morientes and Cisse can't even produce a goal, with the match decider being a set-piece goal. Xabi Alonso is commandable though. Where's the "better, improved" squad Rafa was boasting pre-season. The 2 opening matches still shows that Liverpool is listless and restless as of last season. Liverpool need more creative, influential, energetic forwards - Cisse,Crouch,Sinama-Pongolle,Baros is not enough. Speaking about Baros, Liverpool should offload him, to Lyon preferred. Why? Don't put him in the Premiership cos' one day he might just bite your tail. As for Cisse, its wait-and-see. Bring Owen back is one thing, but the current squad still looks weak in other areas - Defense. The defenders are too old and slow, but Carragher is an exception. He's will become a Liverpool legend some day.

Anyhow, Owen may be a good addition to the attacking front - he's young but he has the experience of the 39-year-old Teddy Sheringham. He will become England's greatest, after Alan Shearer retires next year that is.

Liverpool is targetting the 30-year-old midfielder Solano of Villa, and i think it would be a great addition to a rather inexperienced mid-field. Zenden is erratic sometimes, while Gerrard is too egoistic. Sissoko needs more games. Riise - too slow. Xabi Alonso shines through, but that's just ONE player. Spongebob Square Pants the Movie...

If regularly humor movie-goers are expecting something out of Spongebob Square Pants the Movie - they will most probably swear incessively for folking out $7.50 for the movie ticket when they could have bought themselves 2 Happy Meals from McDonald's( why 2? 1 for the CheeseBurger Meal + Toy, the 2nd to complete the toy collectibles). From TV to Big Screen, SpongeBob has certainly come a long way. Rating it as PG must have been a joke, but certainly, this movie exhibits more values than senseless humor. Only till the closure of the film that i realise the need for Parental Guidence. Parents who accompany their kids to the theatres should guide them throughout the movie, apart from laughs and giggles. When the kids finally learnt about the importance Self-Esteem and Confidance, facing dangers with undaunted gusto, then SpongeBob can be real "edu-taining" to young children. For adults who are curious about the story of this squarish yellow sponge named Bob, don't expect to get a "good" laugh after the movie. Bob's great Starfish sidekick, Patrick, can tickle ur laughing nerves a little, but i would like to stress the word "little". Forced to recover a stolen crown in order to save Bob's boss, these two funny-bunnies can tweak ur mouth a few centimetres with their silly antics. Do expect a lame twist ending...

P.S Turn away from the screen everything King Neptune reveals his shiny bald. Its "blinding".

Overall Rating: 2.5/5 (It deserved a passing score for its educational value.)

Day-of-Despair is nearing in less than 18hrs...haizz...but seriously i dun feel anytink...neither anxious nor excited...wadz wrong wif me??...2 mths ago, when i 1st came to YJ, i detested...but nw, i longed to stay even tho i noe i haf 80% chance of leaving...the ppl, the place, the canteen food(stall no. 2 and 3), i cant bear to part wif dem......and esp my dear...i noe u gave me the freedom 2 make my own choice, u r actually forcing me to make painful decisions...its tormenting and excruciating...n u noe how much i love u......sum ppl say, once 2 lovebirds get separated fr their cages, dey wil b apart 4eva...i dun wish tt day would come, but i shldnt get irrational in my tinking...

9am : * ring ring * the 6100 vibrated away on my bed...its freakin' annoying 2 receive a fone call in the morningz esp when u wanna slp late...but anyway...its was fr Alvin asking me 2 go repair hp wif him...tho sleepy, i juz had 2 move my exhausted body fr my comfort zone...well tts basically how my dae started...freaking Andre smsed me 2 go bowling wif him n her Fugly stead...oh well since i haf nth 2 do y not tag along...CW n Gk were called upon and we 3 dynamic trios stormed the Safra Cathay Bowling...to out amazement, the lanes were packed wif bowlers fr NTU,NUS,SMU,TP,NP,NYP etc. KaoZ total Ownage!! esp. ppl fr Temasek Poly. 8 Strikes 2 spares WTF...consistent lyk sh*t...well we trio got the shock of our lives so...anyway we went walkin ard...we came back at ard 4.30pm for 3 games which is so so sianz... but anyway i started learning spin ball...but stil...it nids perfection ahahahax...dotx...hope i can bowl my PSLE score 1 day...

Mornz suppose to go sch but in the end went to polyclinic...sack sack...dan go find my dar dar, dan went SAKAE SUSHI!! i miss the sushi lyk HELL lor esp. the Soft Shell Crab Handroll!! its the best handroll on Earth OMG...well the buffet onli last 1hr for us so i onli managed to eat 25plates...sobx sobx...my record was 42 in 3hrs...haizz...nvm...anyway aft tt, i went to watch Constantine wif my dar dar...a rather humorous show... angelz vs. devilz, Satan vs God etc. but lyk warteva...its stil a lame show:P...anyway here's sum "food" for thot...

Super-Slacker Day...

Missed ALL YJC's "uninteresting" lectures...feeling guilty but great at the same time...wif 1 wk left in YJ, who cares?? nt even our incompetent CT could do anytink, total YJ loser:P haizz...its rather sad to leave YJ tho. cant bear to leave the T21 "container" class esp HER...but well we can stil kp contact rite? anyway, lets nt mention bout the day-of-despair, 2dae had YET another Kbox outing wif Container frenz, saints of T21. the company includes Jia Hao,Felicia, Eng Siew, Si Min, Wen Si, Andre, GK, me and last but not least, dar dar...ok my voice was screwed, couldnt hit the high notes at all, but anyway had fun nonetheless...ok i dun wan 2 b mushy mushy so i will juz end it here...if nt ppl will say i gross or wadeva...

2dae was a rather tough dae...JC life nv looked so boring b4...i was "suffocated" during the midst of 2dae's schedule...recess was as if a gift fr God comparing tt to the tormoil i had to suffer in uninteresting lectures...thankfully, i get to see my dar dar and was instantly revitalised...haizz...but tinks got worst in the aftnoon...my dar dar was pissed:( seriously...its all my fault i noe...i didnt show enuf care n concern...negligence was the bait n i was the poor little fish named Pj(not Barney's fren "BJ"!...)...i could have made matters worst...but she was kind-hearted enuf to hear my explanation n spared me a thot...i gotta love her for tt * muacks * fortuantely, aft a small lover's tiff, i felt the bonding got stronger...i will love my dar dar even more...

P.S even tho u said u 4given me i noe u wont 4get...but i assure u it will nt happen again kae? i promise...

Boring 2nd day of CNY...

2day was super boring...cant even see my darling lor so sianz...n i noe she tired le oso cant go see her or sth...haizz...anyway...2day suppose to go KBox, but ended up in KPool,i almost wanted to KB(awful pun)...and so instead of playing Pool i decided to play my fav. game Photo Hunt!! too bad my darling wasnt wif me so couldnt enjoy myslf much:( aft bout a boring 30min, i reluctantly got myslf 2 play pool...as usual i got thrashed at my weakest sport ever...and so the time reads 4.30pm...we came 2 and agreement to go Heerens...but 2 our dismay, virtually all the shops were out of business(except HMV)...so it was yet another boring excursion...sumbody in my clique sparked a suggestion...and so we went BK for High Tea(or wadeva)...i had Salad(yeah!! muz jian fei for my dar dar...)the BK Chix Salad rox u ppl reading my blog shld try it haha...ok...aftwards...we WALKED to PS(cuz Wj say he wan 2 save cash, n i wanted 2 Jian Fei...)...haizz...went to P, nth to shop so we went ARCADE(dunno how old liao still go arcade...dotx...) played sum lame games n esp DDR(got OWNED by the machine lor...damn paiseh...)...haizz...tts all bout it...a boring day w/o the companion of my darling...sobx sobx...

So Sianz...miss my darling greatly...

i haven seen my darling for 24hrs(except her foto)...i waited for ur call...but u said u wont b able to make it back home early...haizz...but i will wait...2day's visiting was so boring w/o u...haizz...and i thot i would b able 2 see u tmr...but u said u'll b busy...haizz...y is fate making fun of me...i miss my darling dearly yet God wont allow us see each other nor tok 2 each other...i m getting paranoid over it...

Hi to those who are reading tis...esp my darling...
sry hor dear ytd i mood swing...but anyway i hope it will nv happen again kae?...haizz...last nite i was struck by the slping bug yet again...i lied on the bed...smsing my frenz n darling...dan all of a sudden, my eyes lids got so heavy it would take 10-men to pry it open...when i woke up...i realised many ppl smsed me greetings but i wasnt able to reply...my apologies...and so i realised another tink...I LEFT MY FONE CHARGING THE WHOLE NITE!!!... it was rite beside me on my bed the whole nite and thank God it didnt explode and i didnt die b4 i wake(at least in heaven i could skate...dotx)but anyway.. gotta thank Panasonic too...the japs are smart aft all...k back to topic...i replied my darling, my frenz dan went 2 wash up n came online...guess wad...onli Zhen Xiong was online lor(7.30am)...so sianz...haizz...my darling woke up at ard 9 dan we can finally chat liao yey!!

ok i tink tts all bout it...i hope i can return home early for part two...
